I have a shih-tzu dog who is 2 1/2 years old. She is now 3 1/2 weeks pregnant and will not eat a thing. Please someone help me. I had her to the vet and everything checked out OK. Anyone out there ever experience this. Her mood is also different. Not so playful:( Just mops around. If is would have known this she would he never of gotten pregnant. Has his ever happened to anyone before.

Unfortunately, you can not go back. I'm sure your dog wishes it also. Just like humans some pregnacies aren't so fun. You can still have her spayed and not bring anymore puppies into the world. For every puppy you find a home for another in a shelter or rescue dies. Sorry-I'll get off my soapbox.

I would try crock potting plain chicken breast. A vet I used to work for always had it on hand for ANY sick animal in our hospital to encourage eatting. A VERY high quality puppy food is of the utmost importance. What is she currently eatting? Or not eatting? Anything at the grocery or regular petfood store has chemicals, dyes, by-product and is loaded with grain. Nothing you would want to eat or put into your babies mouth for sure.
