Running water lines to 2nd floor
Hello,
I would like to put in a 2nd full bath on the 2nd floor of our cape cod. Currently, there's a 4" cast iron DWV that runs up a channel to the 2nd floor and then vents out to the roof. I was wondering whether it is possible to use flexible copper tubing to run the water lines up that same channel as oppose to busting a wall to install solid copper piping. If it is possible, will it be consider within code to do so. Also if I can do this, do I need to use a bigger diameter pipe beyond 1/2 inch.
TIA
