My left side hip has been hurting to where I could harldy walk. I do not know what caused this. I need to be cured so I will not lose my job.

You need to see a doctor, it could be a pinched nerve or a muscle spasm, or too many other things. Does it get better or worse with stretching or cold/hot pads? The doctor can begin tests and at least give you documentation for your employer. Good luck & take care.
