Wouldn't that be something you would ask the people you work with since you work with hair dressers. They would know.

Any sort of chemical treatment is going to weaken your hair to a degree. Repeatedly dying your hair certainly isn't healthy. I'm not sure it will make you bald, but it may make your hair somewhat thin, weak or brittle.

Every time you shampoo, blow dry, perm, straighten or dye your hair, you damage it slightly. For the most part, hair can withstand this type of treatment. But overzealous beautifying can damage the hair fiber, resulting in many broken strands, and a frizzy, split-end look. For instance, if you bleach your hair and then have a bunch of perms done in a short time, you're will fall out.

Most hair dyes are not as irritating as permanent solutions, mostly because they do not break the bonds between hair fibers and are therefore not likely to cause a hair loss. However, a severe allergic reaction to hair dye could cause hair loss. Permanent solutions can also cause allergic reactions, though that's a rare side effect. It's your hairstylist's responsibility to check your hair to see if it's in good condition before dyeing or perming it.
