    Parental rights father
I have been in a 10yr relationship with my 3 and 4 yr. Olds father. Never married. We have been separated for a coouple of months, he's a very unreliable dad, always have been. But now that were not together he feels ios OK not to do anything for his kids. He has other kids that he also neglected and other that doesnot even know him like that. I know my kids are going to go through same process with him. When I need him cause my kids are sick, he totally ignores the fact that they need medical attention and does other things for other people. He doesnot put his kids before anything. I have to fight with him so he can come see them cause they love there dad so much! My question is. Can I get full soul custody of my kids where he has no say at all? We went to court one time for child support and they gave us both joint custody. How can I change that?

You most likely will or should have an attorney, that helps, and keep records of all of the times he doesnot visit or come, and use that to ask for a modification of the custody agreement

Please pay more attention to posting guidelines. There is a Read First sticky in the Children forum (where this was moved from) that directs questions of a legal nature to this forum.

You stayed with this person for 19 years? Had not one but two kids with him and stayed with him 3 years after the second child and now he's a bad person? This is what the court is going to look at.

You will probably get sole physical custody, but he will probably get visitation unless you can prove he's a danger to the kids.
