The key was getting stuck in the ignition so we replaced the key cylinder. It did not help. We have noticed this only happens in the morning when it is cold outside. What could we do to prevent this?

Try spraying WD-40 in the locking mechanism. Are you pulling on the steering wheel to release pressure on the locking mechanism? You may be unfamiliar with what you need to do.
We have tried WD-40 in the ignition and lifting on the steering wheel slightly. It appears this is happening due to the cold. We have moved the car inside at night-and find we do not have the problem until the car is parked outside in the cold-then it happens again. Any thoughts? ThanksQuote:
