Wall switch controlling a outlet, want to use outlet to control ceiling fan
I Have a wall swich that currently controls a baseboard outlet. The Wall switch has a white, black, ground coming in from the top of the box-- and a white, black, red, ground coming in from the bottom of the box. The two blacks are tied together/two whites tied together... the red goes to the switch and a pig-tail black tied to the two blacks goes to the switch.

I am installing a ceiling fan (pulling a new 3-wire cable from the fan to the existing box) how do I wire the box so the outlet still works. The outlet currently is plugged into a TV... is is OK to wire the outlet and new ceiling fan from the switch) hope I explained this OK.. Thanks

Are you pulling the new cable to the receptacle or to the switch? Do you want the fan, light or both to be controlled by a switch?

How many cables in recptacle box?
