Do have have insurance for your phone? My guess is, it's probably not useable anymore (my phone wasn't after it got wet). Call your phone company and see about getting a replacement.

I have had some success by burying my phone in rice for about a week. The rice absorbs the water.

I know with Verizon, even if you purchase the insurance, water damage and cracked screens are not replaceable, meaning you would have to pay. I don't know about Nokia.

The best way to ensure an electrical device's safety after being submerged in water is the following:

1: Remove all power sources, batteries, chords, even the clock battery can cause damage when wet. Do so as quickly as possible after damage occurs.

    2. If capable, disassemble so that the main board is separate from the rest of the phone and leave out until all parts are dry.

    3. Take an ear swab and, with 70% or higher isopropyl alcohol clean the entire main board to remove any possible debris or deposits. Let dry again (Shouldn't take more than an hour) and reassemble.

    4. If you can't take it apart, or don't feel secure doing so, the best bet is to place in a warm dry area for about a week, or until you don't see any signs of water in the battery area, or under the screen. Also, make sure there are no connected power sources.

If it seems to fail right after the wetness, there may still be hope if you follow the above steps, trying to power it on over and over could burn up the circuitry.
