My wages were garnished do to a debt I had. They took my whole check. My bank account was also frozen. Can they do this. I was not notified, certified mail. I am a part time worker making less than $300.00 per week. What can I do?

Were you aware that a judgment had been entered against you? Yes they can take your entire bank account, but no they shouldn't be able to take your entire pay check.

Go to your payroll department and ask to see the order allowing garnishment.
