How to get rid of an alcoholic
I am living with an alcoholic and he passes out everywhere, on the street inside the building or inside our condo. He drinks till he passes out and pees himself. He went to the AA program and was good until his office offered beer on his first month back from AA. Then it went downhill. He lies to work, the ambulance picked him up 3 times in the past 3 weeks because they found him unconsious. He is on the lease and I am sure he will loose his job and we pay 1650 a month and for 11 months to go. I tried to remove him from the lease since it is a two month lease but wasn't able to. He doesn't get sober at all. It can go from 10 to 30 days. I really don't know what to do. I called Alanon but they didn't have any suggestion. If you do, I would REALLY appreciate it.

Move and be rid of him.

Move out. There is nothing you can do to help him until he is ready to help himself.

Both correct, Move away, even of it means breaking the lease, your safety and security are more important than breaking a lease... you could just leave and let HIM pay the lease or fail on his own.

In the future I suggest this site, Setting Personal Boundaries - protecting self it really does help to set a boundary and not settle for the chaos this guy is giving you.
