    OK, Mr. Tom:

    Nuther question for the expert.

In plumbing the DWV in a bathroom with two sinks on the same countertop, it is better to use separate P-traps for each sink, or is it legal to run both lavatories to a single P-trap?

    Hey Billy,
It's "dealers ckoice". You may either install a wye on the stub-out and connect a trap to each lavatory or, if you have the height from the trap to the pop-up to install a compression tee, you may install a continuous waste.
You would get better drainage with two traps but I've installed them both ways. Good luck, Tom
