I'm on metformin 1000mg/day to control bloodsugar, to help with my PCOS and non-ovulation. (I also take Levothyroxine 25mg/day for my thyroid, and evening primrose oil capsules as well as prenatal vitamins, just in case it makes a difference.)

We are trying for a baby and heard about the vitamin/supplement called Vitex and all the Trying to conceive success stories from women who tried it.

I have googled but can't find an answer. Can I take Vitex and Metformin at the same time? One lady said she did and she got pregnant but I would like to hear from more than one person before making a decision! Thanks everyone!

I was hoping someone had some info/advice. I can't ask my doctor since no doctor will advise u to take any supplement because they haven't been evaluated by the fda or whatever. =(

I am using metformin... and I asked my doctor if I could use natural herbs as well to trying to conceive and she said it was fine
