Can my husband force me to leave our house?
We have been married 22 years in MS and still have 2 of our 4 kids living at home the youngest being 16. We bought our house about 10 years ago but it is only in his name because I was having problems with my credit. He is an alcoholic and has been drinking non stop since he was laid off and now he telling me that I have to leave the house. I have always stayed home with the kids and now babysit my grandsons so I have no income.

No, he cannot force you out of the marital home. If he files for divorce he could win the house in the divorce, but only then can he force you to vacate.

If he tries to force you out, especially while drunk, call the police! They will most likely remove him at which point you go to court for a restraining order forcing HIM out of the house. I suggest you start looking for a divorce attorney!
