All 5 of the cold-water shutoff valves in my house are leaking water.
It may be an isolated incident, but this may have been pressure related. My house is about 12 years old and we have had some cold weather here in NC. It appears all of the bathroom cold valves have leaked about a cup of water. They aren't runnning constantly, but they will drip when the water is turned on. This may have all occurred at once. Please help me understand what occurred and what to do.

    Thanks,

    Ash Harrison

I believe the water may have forced out of #1. I'm going out on a limb a bit here, though. It is harder to tell than you might think. An interesting thing--the kitchen sink didn't leak, and it is the only one that has a combined h/c faucet, and it may be a bit more stout than the bathroom fixtures as well.
