I moved your thread from Adult Sexuality because you must be 18 years old or older to post there.

Hopefully you'll get some great answers here.

You might be feeling what's called "razor burn" or have cut yourself somewhere where you can't see the cut. Is it a general hurting feeling or in just one place?

Well it helps to put vaseline on it, it will sting but your mom doesn't have to know about it, pubic hair grows back and you can always talk to a school counselor about it if you are uncomfortable discussing it with your mom.

Please do not put Vaseline on it. Vaseline is petroleum jelly that holds in moisture AND bacteria. It's best just to use some body powder until the burn goes away. It may take a day or so, but it will get better.

What about a gel with aloe in it? Or stick with powder only?

A water based gel with aloe in it may help. But you must beware that if there is ANY alcohol in the gel it will burn like fire!

And like J_9 said, with a WATER (not alcohol) base. I'm using it after my radiation treatments.

Next time, try using Johnson&Johnson's baby wash while you shave. The pain is most likely from razor burn. But what you can do in the mean time, is get some aloe gelly. I use it on everything. It works amazingly!

Hey, have you ever tried using conditioner? Yeah, I mean hair conditioner... it softens the hair and skin making shaving easier. ;)

    That's ingenious!
I usually use tweezers actually, but when I don't feel up to it I use the Johnson&Johnson babywash. I'll have to tell Mum about the conditioner so we can try it

Baby oil is good to use on your skin before waxing. Don't soak your skin with it though. You only need to dab it on then rub it in.
