    Hi Hypo,
They've been around for a while, they advertise on television quite frequently. At the very least, it doesn't appear to be a scam of any sort. How legitimate a college or employer will consider their diploma, I couldn't say. Why not just study for your GED and take it locally? I dropped out in the eleventh grade myself, and that is what I did, before entering a community college.
Either way, it's definitely worth looking into.
    Good luck. Take care. :)

Hypo, your GED is a diploma equivanent.

You can go to colleges with a GED these days. Granted it might start as a community college, but it is a college nonetheless.

There is no reason to spend the money to get a diploma if you have a GED.

There are several "online" high school, even including regular online classes instead of going to high school The one you listed did not say who it is acredited by, it needs to be one accreded by an agency reconised by the US department of Education

    And several are fairly good

    Penn Foster High School

    http://www.cmacademy.org/
** this one appeared fairly highly recommended

    Whitmore School
    http://adulted.about.com/gi/dynamic/...tter153063.htm

Now the one you listed may well be properly acredited, they just did not say on their web site, who they are acredited with.

For example, our Church has a school, we issue many degrees, they are accredited, but not by any group that is reconised by the dept of education
