My 12 week old baby has colic?
My baby is 12 weeks now. He had colic early on from about 4-8 weeks which subsided. Now it seems to be back with a vengeance where he is refusing to nurse and crying a lot at night when I can tell he's exhausted. I thought colic was supposed to subside by 12 weeks? Has anyone heard of it coming back around this time?

I was under the impression that it can last up to 4-5 months.
My daughter was EXTREMLEY colicy, lots of nights spent walking the floors. Then she would eat like a starved dog.
What are you giving her for the colic?
I used Oval, it seemed to help a little. Could be the foods that you are eating as well. It may upset her tummy. Have you talked to your doctor about her not wanting to nurse and the colick?

My friend's baby had it until 9 months. One of mine had it consistently for 3 months but then it kept popping back up and going again till about 6 months. I kept thinking it must be something I was eating which was afecting the breastmilk but I never managed to work out what and it did vanish eventually.

As he is refusing to nurse might be worth checking with the doc in case it is something else.
