What's the correct replacment blower motor for a Rheem Furnace Model REAC-080A
I have a Rheem Furnace model REAC-080A. It was built in 1982. The blower motor is squeaking and I put a drop or two of 3-N-1 oil on it and it quiets down for a few days. The Id tag identifies the blower motor model as 9-7DU. When I run a web search it comes up as a OEM replacement motor for $375. I plan on replacing the furnace this summer and just need it to make the winter. My question is... Is there a less expensive blower motor available for this furnace? Whom manufacturers it and what is the part number?

A standard furnace blower motor is available from many different sources. Your best bet is to remove the old motor and match it up at a local supply house. Always get a new motor run capacitor that matches the new motor. It will look something like this.
