My maytag bravos washer was toward the end of a load - 19 min left. It stayed on 19 minutes for quite some time. I then unplugged the machine and plugged it back in. It seems like it is trying to drain but will not. When I press the cancel button the motor will continue to run even though the touch screen panel is not illuminated. I have to unplug the appliance for it to stop. No error code came up.

It sounds like the drain pump is jammed or is otherwise not working. If the machine cannot drain, it will not continue the cycle. Usually though it should give an error like "ld" for Long Drain.

I would plug the machine in and hit cancel and wait until it either gives you an error or times out.
