    Goodman furnace gmp075-3 manual
We have a Goodman Furnace GMP075-3 which we replaced the gas valve and flame sensor in 2008 for the same problem that I am about to describe that is currently happening AGAIN! The funace kicks on, it ignites, flame goes out and fan continues to run blowing cold. This happens intermittently NOW, but last time it just completely went out and would not ignite at all. This seems to happen when the temperature goes below 20 degrees if that makes any sense at all. We are going to clean the flame sensor, but would appreciate any advice on this. By the way, we are starting a "replace the furnace fund" LOL Thanks!

Pick your model since this covers many.

I would try to clean the flame sensor first with fine sand paper or steel wool. NOTE It does not make a difference if it was new in 2008 it could be coated again. Good luck.

Thanks a million! My hubby cleaned the flame sensor with some steel wool and it is running like a top! Thank you so much!
