How do I fill out Answer-contract form PLD-C-010 in a civil case?
I am in California on Riverside County and I have to do a written response in a proper legal form. The form are the PLD-C-010 and this is the link to see the form in pdf format:
    http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/forms/fillable/pldc010.pdf
    My questions:
    1) What name I have to write on the section ANSWER-Contract, I am the defendant so are two spaces; {the first square } to complain of (name) 'or' {the second square} to cross-complaint (name)
I think I have to answer the first square, I am sorry for my ignorance but has to be my name or the name of the plaintiff?
    2) I like to replay I am agree to pay only the amount the plaintiff prays but not the interest and the plaintiff attorney fees.

I have to pay $425.12 just for civil procedure, that is big money for me. I am just a regular person, I work by my own and I do not have any benefits or regular income but I work and I never request any kind of government help. I feel bad because this problem but I like to pay the original amount.

I hope some one can help me and please if you just consider don't give any good help do not replay. I know many people are in my situation and few members just replay with bad attitudes and vague answers. If some one can help me not only are helping my case also thousand of persons who are looking for the same answer.

It is very sad how unprotected are the normal people in situations like this, every body are looking for your wallet.

God bless you for your interest and help.

We are all volunteers here, doing the best we can to answer questions and I find your "... few members just replay [I assume you mean reply] with bad attitudes and vague answers]," especially when legal questions are involved, to be offensive. You are insulting the very people who are attempting to help you.

Just because you don't understand an answer doesn't make it vague or incorrect.

I realize you want to pay only a portion of the debt. What is your LEGAL ARGUMENT for doing so - and inability to pay is not a legal argument.

Here's the site that explains it all - Responding to a Lawsuit.

Check the first square before "to complaint of (Name)", and in the box after those words, put the name of the person who is suing you (the plaintiff).

Also, in the very first box of the form (before the field you asked about) there is a space entited "ATTORNEY OR PARTY WITHOUT ATTORNEY... " That is you. put your name and information there. You would be the defendant. Also put your name in the box entitled "PLAINTIFF", and the other party's name in the box entitled "DEFENDANT".

That would be Section 6. Check the 6 b. square, and explain why in the box.

You could, if you want, check the section 5 square, and in the box admit that you agree that you owe the principal amount claimed.
