How can a noncustodial parent get full custody of his son?
I am the noncustodial parent, I was given parental rights and visitation rights, my son came to live with me almost 2 years ago, I filed for a modification over a year ago, I just received a call today from the child support office to advice me that the mother was served today. She has 20 days to respond and then I will get a court date. I would like to know if I can request full custody be given to me when I go to court for the modification of child support? Also, my daughter is 17 and her mother left her living with her boyfriend out of state. Is this ilegal? Do I still have to continue paying child support for her? Please help me. Thank you

You can ask for anything you want. It'll be up to the judge to give it to you or not.

No, you can't ask for a custody change at a hearing for child support. They are both separate. You should have filed 2 years ago.
