What is the purpose of guys taking cold showers when they cant get sex?
    Hi!

I was reading a book yesterday and there was a part in the story about a guy liking this woman. She hhas invited him into her hotel room but he didn't want to go in because he didn't want anything to go to far between them. So he declined the offer and went home. The narrater in the book said that he had to rush home to take a cold shower.

Now I hear this aloti in some of the books I read and it never explains why men do that. I'm going to take a guess and say that it makes guys nut faster lol or takes away the erection lol. Neither one sounds like truth though... So does anyone know why and what the purpose is? Lol thanks!

The cold water causes "shrinkage". :)

Its hard to keep a stiffy when you are cold. Plus the shock of the cold water will also take your focus Off that subject pretty quick.

As stated, I think the sensation shock distracting the mind from the body is the goal there.

It's a pretty lame cliché, in my opinion.

Nothing like going from thinking about hot steamy sex to a brutal cold shower.
