How do you train a three year old Alsatian to walk properly on the lead
Hi, I have a three year old Alsatian that goes mad when its time for walkies. She rushes out the door and pulls like mad. I aleays pull her back but she still pulls and pulls and it makes walking the dog unenjoyable what can I do

I would suggest using a Halty or gentel leader. The gentel leader is a little bit more expensive, but has better qualities for training. Make sure to get either one properly fitted or they will be useless.
I recommend staying away from body harnesses, as they will promote pulling in your breed.
Just some proper training should help you in your case Have you considered obeidience classes?
You could also try some protocols for relaxation. Get our dog to sit before he walks out the door, and make sure you go out first. So example, ask him to sit and wait, then you open door, and walk out, and then invite him to join you out side with some praise and maybe some kibble.

I agree with Aurora, the sit and wait technique is a good one for calming a dog down, providing your dog knows how to sit on command (if no you will ned to teach it)

Every time the dog goes to pull, make him, stop, sit and wait a minute... then resume walking.
He will get the idea eventually that pulling=having to sit down.
