I've been trying to think of the name of this movie from when I was little, but I'm guessing the movie could have been made anywhere from the late 70's to the very early 90's.
The exact details are vague at best, but I think I remember enough. It was about a few tween-teenage friends on Halloween, and one of their friends goes missing, or dies or something. I know the kid becomes a ghost, and they need to travel the world and find him or save him. I remember something about the Grim Reaper being prevalent, but that might be from something else.
