    Kenmore 70 series washer problems
My Kenmore 70 Series washer makes a loud banging noise during the spin cycle and when I check on the unit I find the washer is turned slightly sideways (unit has moved) What could cause this and how to correct? Thanks

I'm not a repairman, but, first, see if the load is imbalanced. If you have a heavy piece of clothing, for instance, mixed in with lighter clothing, the heavier piece might get bunched up to one side, causing an imbalance in the spinning tub during the spin cycle. When that happens, the washer will tend to wobble, make banging noises, and move around.
