What does the covenant entail for new testament christian believers
I know that we are Abrahams seed through the blood of Jesus Christ as believers, but I haven't got a clear understanding of what all is included in the covenant. Salvation through Jesus is enough but what else?

Eph 4:4-6 There is One Body, and One Spirit, even as ye are called in One Hope of your calling; One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

In this we have Christ Jesus, and all 7 are the spiritual completeness in HIM.
    One Body
    One Spirit
    One Hope
    One Lord
    One Faith
    One Baptism
    One God

We that follow are sanctified in Christ with the Holy Spirit, crucified and dead on the cross with Christ, and buried in baptism with HIM, so that we can raise to the new man, having the spirit that dwell within us.

    Hebrews 10:19 (sanctified)
    Romans 6:6 (crucified)
    Romans 6:4 (buried)
    Eph 2:6 (raised us)

Eph 4:22-23-24 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness

    Repent, sin no more!

Heb. 8:10-13 " For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord; I will put My Laws in their mind
and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall
be My people." 11, "None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none
his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for all shall know Me, from the least
of them to the greatest of them." 12. "For I will be merciful to their
unrighteousness, and their sin and their lawless deeds, I will remember
no more." 13. In that He says,"A new covenant", He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

    A Pear,
    Simply put...
A covenant of God is much more than a contract.
It is also a pledge, a promise, and an oath.
The bible speaks of several covenants of God to Hid people which the people often broke.
Jesus, God the Son, gave us a new covenant.
It is one of His body and blood which he shed for all who follow him with a working faith for a faith without words is dead.
    Peace and kindness,
    Fred

A Pearl, The Old Covenant was based upon your success, by
Obedience, our keeping the rules and regulations. And that's a
Problem, like the house of Israel, we are unable to keep the law,
    The Old Covenant.
The New Covenant was written on the tablets of the heart. No
Longer external, His will would be internal. In other words, grace
Would be put into us everything God's wants out of us.
That is what it means to be born-again, the New Covenant, Spirit-
Led Christians, for what ever Gods wants from you, by His grace, He will
Work within you. ( Phil. 2:13)
Jeaus said that the Law and the prophets hang on loving God
    And loving our neighbor.

    Maggie 3,
    I agree, but...
The Old Testament has several covenants in it that were all broken.
    Peace and kindness,
    Fred
