Why my ex-girlfriend still accepts my diamond ring?

We had a heated argument two weeks ago and I suggested we go separate ways. I heard from her best friend that she will be going home for a few weeks. As the diamond ring was intended to be given to her on Valentines day and knowing we will not be meeting up on the day I asked her friend to pass it on to her.

Is the diamond ring simply a gift or is it a promise to marriage? If YOU suggested you go separate ways why are YOU now presenting her with a diamond ring?

I knew I was wrong and I made the mistake, the ring was to show I still have feelings for her. She called me last Saturday and say we will meet up once she's back from home, she also mentioned it depends on whether I want to see her again.

The ring was intended as a Valentines gift, but since I will not be seeing her I asked her friend to pass it onto to her. The gift was to show I made the mistake by suggesting we go separate ways and that I strill have strong feelings for her.

So, are you asking if her acceptance of the ring equals forgiveness? No, it doesn't. She couldn't not accept the ring since you gave it to someone else to give to her. Has she spoken to you since she received the ring?

Yes, we have spoken on the phone. She said she likes the ring very much and that she has forgiven me a long time ago and that she wanted to see me and was not sure why I met up with her friend and NOT her. She said she wants to see me when she comes back.

The question is, does she still has feelings for me? Shall I see her when she comes back?
