    Not returning birth certificates
Can my ex girlfriend have me arrested because I won't return her and her daughters' birth certificates?

    Why would you keep them?

In your last post you were a mother, now you are the boyfriend, I am confused.

Because she married the father of my baby and not me. And I don't want to spend money on sending it to her. She can always get a new one!

I am bi sexual and yes I am a mother! How dare you even jump to the conclusion that I was a man!

You are too cheap for the $0.44 cents to return two pieces of paper?

Unfortunately, family members have been known to share computers and usernames. As your original post was not clear that you were a bisexual mother, it was assumed that you may have been a male.

Without being able to talk face-to-face, sometimes we need to all ALL the info for people to understand the entire scenario.

Sorry, but when you refer to the father of your child in one thread then your ex girlfriend in another thread you are going to get people confused by the inconsistency.

Justwantfair made a logical assumption. And I think you were off base in getting angry about it. As to giving you lip, you were the one who started it. No one is giving you "lip". We have simply explained why the inconsistentcy raised eyebrows.

As to your question, I doubt if you would be arrested for not returning such property. I can't imagine a prosecutor who would prosecute such a case. However, she might be able to sue you for not returning her personal property. There is no predicting what a court will do, especially a small claims court.

Not returning them will of course just add to more issues, why can't people ignore problems for the kids sake.
