I have a Friend that lives with me. She has lived with me for about 4+ years,and not on my Lease. She said she moving out at the end of Feb. 2010. Is there a Squatters law in DC,and How I go about making sure she moves at the end Feb. of 2010?

There's no way to "make sure" she moves. If she doesn't, file for eviction.

I'm sure you're aware that you cannot change the locks, disconnect the utilities, keep her personal belongings, etc. as retaliation for not moving out.

There is no squatters rights, there is renters right ( which is what she is) she is merely a non paid renter.

So if she does not leave, give her notice to move, and if she does not, evict her
