Turn up the heating element temp at the HOT WATER TANK. The elements or 1 may be burn't out. There usually are 2 elements in a HW tank and can be adjusted and elements can go bad and be replaced.

If your shower faucet is a single handle fgaucet, then I think that you could take the handle off the faucet and do some adjusting it would help. There is probably a ring that you can pull out and trun it to the right or left and one way will make you water coming out of the faucet hotter.

It be nice if we know the brand and the model number then we can tell what is your problem, if you don't have problem with the hot water in other faucets then there is nothing wrong with your water heater or water elements.

Is you water heater gas or electric?

    Thanks.
