    Electric central heaters
I HAVE A trANE Central H&A electric that has worked fine for 10 years. Then all of a sudden the circuit breaker started tripping so I changed the filter and does not trip anymore but only barely warm air coming out. The blower is fine? Can you tell me what may be causing this. I have called a repairman in the past for other things and have really been taken advantage of but did not find this out until later. I guess they see I am a woman and think they can do that. Any advice will help. Marilyn

One or more of your heaters is probably defective. The saging of the heater probably shorted and caused the circuit breaker to trip.

If you have an electric test meter and know how to use it then check the circuits out then find the defective part (s), buy the replacements or restring kit, install and you are back in biz. If not then call the poor repairman to fix it.

Thank you for your prompt answer. I do not have a testing kit and would not know how to use but at least now I have a starting point,

    Again thank you

I forgot to mention this unit is entirely one piece. Out side only.
