Would love to add more. But your going to have to wait for the birth and then a paternity test.

Can't you get a paternity test while the baby is still inside?

Not that I am aware of here in the U.S. If there were one, I can assure you it would be COSTLY!!

The test is done by swabbing the inside of the baby's mouth, your mouth, and the father's mouth. There are blood tests that can be done also.

I believe you can do paternity from an amniocentesis now, but no clue about the price... obviously itd be more... not to mention the low, but real, risk to the unborn child for a test that can be done later.

Yes, KP, I believe that is possible, however, due to the risk, many doctors will not do an amnio for paternity purposes only.

I was 38 and had had chemo in the past and due to my first 3 pregnancies being perfect, they still were a little reluctant to do an amnio.

So, while I believe it is possible, it could be next to impossible to find one for only that reason.

Due to risks and there is no real issue in rushing, give birth and have a DNA test done.

And I will add, if he already doubts, he is not father material, he may be child support material but a loving relationship is one where there is trust and desire to have the baby.

Well you don't have that much longer to go... just get the test when the baby is born...
