How to plumb a sink in with a washer
    Hi all

Just wondering how to plumb a sink in with my washer.I would like to use our stainless steel kitchen sink instead of throwing it out.See pic below ( Big thanks to mark for the drawing )Sink would be to the left of the standpipe.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Nortonalberta...

You want to cut into the 2" drain as low as possible as previously discussed. You want the sink drain to end up at about 15-17" off the floor. Pitch pipes at 1/4" per foot of pipe...hang pipes every 4 feet...install clenaout as indicated in drawing...reduce to 1.5" for sink... reduce vents to 1.5", but pipe the washing machine drain up full size 2".
