Tub surround with no drywall behind it
I will retype my question. I am thinking of purchasing a new home. While viewing the home which is still under construction, ( almost finished Interior work to be done) I noticed the tub surround has no sheet rock or greenboard behind it. I can see the insulation and vapour barrior. How should I expect that the contractor doing this work to seal at the top of the surround. The tube surround is a one piece shower and tube surround. It almost seems as if the whole unit was to large to fit and they cut away the drywall to fit it in place or maybe this is normal? Note two of the walls are exterior facing walls. I can take some pictures and email or post them of Facebook tomorrow if that helps. Thank Mike.
