    Trouble codes for york furnace
I have a York furnace and the blower is not coming on. The diagnostic fault code light started with 4 blinking reds which describes it as the limit swith is open. Now diagnostic fault code light is blinking 11 times which describes it as limit switch open - blower failure. I had the furnace off most of the day cleaning out the Aprilaire humdifier. Would the wire coming off the humidifier have any impact on this limit swith being open? I bumped it while I was cleaning the area out and I checked it and it appeared to be all connected at the humidifier control unit. How do I get the limit switch/blower to work? We are getting pretty cold now since it is about 15 degrees outside right now.. thanks!

Try turning the blower switch on the thermostat from auto to ON and see if the blower runs

I tried that and it didn't work. I was going to buy a new thermostat since I have been wanting a programmable one anyway to see if by chance the thermostat is bad.

I forgot to mention that I ran through the wiring diagram to what I believe is the limit switch which appears to be some sort of sensor that extends into the fire box. It has a Texas instruments label on the device.
