    Water Well cracked case
    Well water on grandmas mobile ,brown even after pre filter .5 micrn. And a carbon filter and uv canister and through softener and low pressure, have 60 gal. tank with blatter.new 2hp pump 2yr. Old,any suggestions she's 90 yr.old no money I'm try to help but I have very little money myself thank you all god bless

    The brown water sounds like it's pumping soil due to a lowered water table unless you have a very high content of iron oxide.
    Did you shut the pump off and drain the system down to zero and then set the bladder tank pressure at 2PSI under the cut in pressure at the control box? Let me know, Tom

    Yes, blatter only had 20 lbs. of pressure cut off was 40 lbs we set it to 38 lbs factory pre set water work fine up to the filters. Lot of rain here water table should be OK, mom said well is 60 ft deep. Could there be traped air in the system, water still slow after we screwed in the bypass for softener. We will try pulling out filters and check pressure maybe .5 mic. Plug up to fast, will try larger micro filters to see if this makes a change,my have to dig new well? Thank you for your help .
