No Water from hot side of kitchen faucet
No water came form hot side of kitchen tap but cold tap worked fine, yesterday. Today cold water no longer functions. Both exhibited very stiff turning action at the time when they stopped working. After they turned normally. I had the cylinders apart and saw no obvious breakage or clog.
    Cheers,

So it sounds like you have valve stems and not a cartridge, right? With the stems/cylinders removed did you try to turn on your supply while covering the valve body with a towel? Try that and come back, hold towel tightly while someone else turns on the supply, they likely will need to shut it down quickly

    BallengerB:
Thanks, It turns out the pipes were frozen. The hot froze first, then last night the cold froze. But I have parts left over. There are two small washers that came from the inside of the faucet, inside a white plastic sleeve, and may have fit over a small nipple at the base of the sleeve, but were sideways inside this sleeve when I opened up the faucet.
