About two weeks just before christmas my boyfriend and I had sex, and while we were setting the mode he was fingering me really hard. After that we got down to business and everything seemed fine at the time and when he came inside my vagina. However, the following Monday when I went to the bathroom to pee I noticed a slight burning sensation and inside my vagina itches and I can't seem to find out what the problem is. About a 3 days to a week after I went to the store and brought the monistat 7; because at this point I'm thinking that I have a yeast infection but when I used it, it burned for a while and I do not know if that is suppose to happen. But luckily the pain went away. I still worried even though the pain is gone. Can you help me and tell me what you thing the problem is and what it might or could be?

My advice would be to see a doctor. I know its been over a month, and the pain is gone now... but I recommend seeing a doctor any time you have unprotected sex, an exchange of body fluids, then develop symptoms. It could be any number of things that each have their own treatment. The safest thing would be to have your doctor take a look and run some tests.
