How soon usually you got the money for FICA tax return? My employer said they will do the fica tax return since march 09 but till now I have not get any money yet, is this normal processing time? Almost a year now?

FICA tax return? Did you file Form 843 with IRS for refund of FICA taxes?

I did not,, my employer did,, I signed consent saying I will not file myself, my employer will do it for me but IRS been 10 months they said it is still in proscess

It has been WAY too long; when the employer does it, the time it normally takes is about four weeks.

You may want to call the IRS direct to see if they are the hold-up. It seems to me that the employer MAY be lying to you.
