    Tax h1b and wife H4
I work on h1b since October 2008.Last year I filed tax as non-resident alien online. I got married since May 2009 with my wife H4. But my W2 marital status still be SINGLE.

-Can I file my tax jointly with my wife this year or I need to change my marital status in W2? How?

-Can I filing jointly and also claim my wife as dependent?

-Do I need to file form 1040EZ or 1040? Or I need professional help?

-In form 1040EZ line 8(Making work pay credit)It's confuse that H1b and spouse h4 are eligible for this credit? If so, I will get 800$ for married filing jointly?

Thanks and appreciated for all answers,

You are resident for 2009. You can file joint return as residents irrespective of what you claimed on your W-4. You must both report worldwide income for 2009.

Yes, you will get Making Work Pay credit. Complete schedule M (Form 1040). H1-B tax filing: Your U.S. Tax Return: The U.S. Visas
