I wouldn't suggest it,moisture and OSB are not good together.

I would suggest using luan(sp) rather than OSB.

It is pretty much standard to use luan... I've never tried anything else

I would either use the 1/4" luan or 1/4" cement board before using OSB. What is the subfloor made of?

    Hi pacrat52
I would highly recommend using a plywood called "ulay".It looks just like good one side plywood but the inner layers are solid. That being said luan maybe cheaper & would do just as well for the job.Osb will telegraph through some lino.
    Hope this helps
