I am 18 and I live in Indiana. I don't live with my parents and they aren't going to help me with my collage funds. So what steps do I need to take to get emancipated?

The sad trick here is there is nothing you can do, at 18, you are a adult and emancipated from the terms of legal control your parents may have had over you.

College finicial aid, expects your parents to help you, if they won't, that is a family issue to deal with, but if they have the resourses they are expected to

But if I get a court ordered emancipation won't that make it so that they are not responsible for my education and therefore I can put myself down as independent?
