Hello guys I’m in desperate need of help my puppy Maxy is a toy Chihuahua he’s a week from being 6 months old. My puppy was playing like two days ago and he ate a little bit of grass, he stopped eating and I try to feed him but he won't eat I try to make the food soft for him so he would eat it but he notice and its been two days he hasn’t eaten anything. He’s getting so thin way thinner than what he was u can see his little ribs you carry him and he doesn’t weight much he doesn’t run anymore he just stays laying down sad all the time. He barely drinks water like just one lick that’s all I don’t know what to do with my puppy. He’s been getting little goo on his eyes and he doesn’t even bark anymore he’s the kind of puppy that’s so exited all the time and he barks at anything, he’s very playful with my cats but now he just doesn’t do anything guys please help me!!

What do you do if a puppy won't eat YOU TAKE HIM TO THE VET IF HE Hasn't EATEN FOR TWO DAYS, AND YES I AM YELLING ! He could have a blockage from something he ate that you didn't see, a toy, a piece of rug, etc.

Your dog hasn't eaten in two days and you come to the internet asking for help instead of going to the vet?

We can't help you. No one on the internet can give you an accurate diagnosis, only a vet can and it's way past time that you went to one.

I can guess and I'm going with Tickle on this one, because your dog was eating grass, which they usually do to either vomit or soothe a sore tummy, I'm guessing there's a blockage that he's trying to bring up but can't. Now he's at your mercy.

Either take him to the vet or watch him die slowly. Those are your options.

Get him to the vet. He is sick. There are too many things that could wrong for us to start guessing. He could have been eating the grass to try to purge his system (in which case he was already feeling ill) or it could have been something on the grass (weedkiller, insecticide, fertilizer, etc.) ONLY YOUR VET WILL BE ABLE TO DIAGNOSE what is wrong with him.
