    What's going on?
My thread is closed and I know it's well deserved to be but how I be abandoned like that. I did get all the advice but I still need some support. Does this site only let you go so far? Was it affecting anyone or was Curlyben and JudyKateTee being mean? I like this site and the support. Why would they close it without an apology or anything. I really enjoyed. Do they have to ruin it for me. And why would you say thank you Altenweg for them closing it? You didn't have to give me support, you chose to. You couldve chosen to stay away. I still need some support, so what do I do?

They closed it because everything had already been said, all the advice already given. If you read back, I said pages ago that I think it should be closed because all you were doing is coming back to tell us the same thing over and over again. You weren't listening to the advice, you were using the thread as you own personal journal. There are better ways to do that. Having said that, I didn't request it be closed so I'm only guessing that's the reason.

The purpose of a thread such as yours is to get support to stick to NC, it's not a place for you to write your dating autobiography. I've never seen a relationship thread go on as long as yours and get absolutely nowhere, just rehashing the same thing over and over again.

What do you do? Stick around and help others going through the same thing you're going through. Maybe by being a counselor instead of a victim you'll get further in your recovery of this.

Also, all the advice, all the help you need, it's already in those 84 pages. There's nothing more anyone can say or do, it's already been said and done. Should we really spend another 84 pages saying all the things we've already said? There's no need to keep repeating our advice, you just have to re-read what's already been written and maybe that's the best thing for you.

There are other sources of help for you, the stickies that were written about No Contact and other threads about situations the same as yours.

It's time to move on Emo, not only with your life, but with your thread. It's gone on too long with absolutely no progress.

If you want to write about your past experiences in your relationship, buy a journal. Then you can write everything down, get it out of your system.

You still have support, of course you do, but enough is enough where that thread is concerned. Repeating advice and never having it sink in, that's a waste of everyone's time.

This is why the thread was closed. You still have the mindset of a three year old that had a toy taken away. The thread closed and instead of moving on and accepting it, you throw a tantrum.

Read the thread and take note that every time you showed progress and the thread slowed down, you had a melt down. Instead of using it as tool to move on, you used it as a way to stay in place and get attention.

The spotlight is now turned off.

The reason it was closed is because it turned into a chat session. This is not a chat room.

Everything that had to be said had already been said.

Ben, one of the administrators of the site closed it.

You guys are very correct. I was using it as a journal and as a place for attention. Nonetheless, I have come a long way in 3 months thanks to all of you! I guess I mostly felt bad I didn't get to say o goodbye thank you to all the people who were so dedicated and really cared for my well being and I will always be grateful. I guess the best thing now is to give advice and help others.

I think you should all be flattered because I mostly came to hear everyone's great advice. I know it got tiring but on my side it was amazing and helped. My mind is in a better place and I am moving on with the gym and work and school and friends. Put aside the long thread, you guys have really helped me and I appreciate it and will always remember what you all did for me! I understand I may have down days but I will do something else to keep me focused. Maybe closing my thread is best to push me further into the moving on. I know what to do now.

    Thank you everyone!!

Forever and ever grateful for this site and everyone that posted, and with love, Emopunk7!

If you just want to chat to everyone feel free to come across to the "Lounge" area. We all have a bit of a laugh over there and I'm sure everyone would welcome you.

No talking about the Ex allowed though ;)
