I heard that witch hazel is pretty good stuff and has many uses. Have any of you ever used it and would you recommend it. If so then why? If not then why not?

Just curious because I bought a toner from OLAY that has witch hazel in it, it seems to work but I want to know what else it can be used for (not the toner just witch hazel)
Anyway, I'd like to hear what you have to say about it, so input?
