I have a comcast cable box (for digital, on-demand, on-screen guide) and just bought a 42" Vizio. How do I hook this up? When going through the box, the vizio menus are not available. When bypassing the box, the on-screen (cost me money) extras are not available through the vizio remote. It shouldn't be this hard. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Model numbers please? Also, please explain your problem better. Are you just looking for directions to connect things? Or do you want to know how to use the TV's menu?

You should still be able to access the TV menu no matter whether something is connected to the TV or not. All you have to do is press the menu button on the original TV remote.
