    Bing taken over computer!
I'm not sure why but every time I run many sites including Amazon.com the Bing search page pops up instead or changes the page to itself. It is causing serious problems for me. I am using Internet Explorer. I just attempted to switch it to Firefox but of course Bing would not let me. It is acting like a virus!! How do I make it go away!

Does it show up as your Search Provider in search box?

I don't think so. How can I be certain? My search toolbars are Google and Yahoo. I can still Google or Yahoo things, but when I try and use Amazon.com for example the site loads and then switches over to javascript:void(false) - Bing

The site will load just fine but instantly switches. It does that on other things to, but I frequently use Amazon and this is one of the biggest issues it's causing for me.

I never used this dang Bing thing and I don't know how it wormed into my computer but its really frustrating.

Click on the down arrow in search box and see who is Default.

Better yet, click the down arrow in search box, then Manage, then select Bing and click remove.

The default is Google. Bing isn't even in the list of search servers I have!

May not help, but never hurts is to delete your Temporary Internet files and Cookies?

    How do you do that?

Click on Tools, scroll to bottom where it says Internet Options, then on the General Tab, select Delete. Be sure Cookies and Temporary Internet Files are selected, then select Delete again, you don't have to delete form data or passwords.

It didn't fix it. The Bing monster is now beginning to switch this site. I have to hit stop to keep it away.
