    Why?
OK, there is this guy. He went out with me and said he liked me and everything. Then he broke up with me and told everyone it was because he might be moving back to toronto with his dad. He tells my friend that he probably not moving and that he doesn't like me anymore. I'm just curious does this sound like he was lying to me? And also, I just don't understand why guys would just want to throw away someone (for no reason) after all the good times they shared with that person? How can they just forget? And just act like nothing at all happened? Do you think we have another chance? I'm so confused! Also, this other guy... likes me but I just like him as a friend, he's like my best friend, and I can't get over the other guy!!
    What to do?

Whatever this guys real reason is, I would try get over him as soon as possible and leave him be. You are hearing different stories, so he must be the confused one.
    Don't worry, leave him be.

For what ever reason he chose not to have a relationship with you. As in the case many times you liked him more than he liked you. It happens so accept it and move on. The rejection you feel is natural and makes you wonder, but don't beat yourself up over it. Don't let his confusion define you. Hold your chin up and move forward. The longer you dwell on this, the longer it will take to see that others are not like him, and as hard as it is to believe, you will have many opportunities to have fun, and even may be the one to break up with some one else. You never know. Get on with having fun.

Whatever you do, make sure that you don't use your friend to get over this other guy. Maybe you should organize a gals night out on the town, meet some new people, see "what" is out there and just live it up for one night. As Tal says... get on with having fun.

    What to do?

    Chill!

Date more, with far less expectations and tons less drama. Light, easy, fun NON-COMMITTED dating -- its easier on the emotions. And its slow -- so you have time to learn important things like just because someone claims to like you doesn't mean it's the truth so don't be offering your heart like a school girl, and that "going together" doesn't mean much to some people so don't be picking out curtains.

Give yourself time to grow up, sweetie and the "adult stuff" gets easier, I promise.

Hi it sounds to me all he wanted is one thing that's all. Just forget about him and get on with your life. Some men just say things like that to get you were they what you you can find some one better than him.:o
