York gas apck model #D3GA024N04206A fan runs continuously even with thermostat off unless I pull the power but will not ignite. Board is flashing 5 times. The small fan that runs to pull the gases out before ignition is running and I have air coming through the house vents, just no ignition and no heat.

No there is no gas smell. The pilot lights automatically, but I'm assuming it can't because as soon as I put the fuse back in the fans come on and run non-stop, even with the thermostat set to off.
On the thermostat one switch should say fan on or fan auto. If its on fan on, the fan will run, make sure its set to auto. With fan turned to auto and the heat/off/cool turned to off, the fans still run?
Make sure your main gas line is turned on, and even in the furnace the gas valve should be set to "on". Double check those.
So usually the pilot lights itself, but its not doing that anymore? Again check the gas valve and make sure its on
Also has anything changed since it last worked fine? Like new thermostat, plugged it into a different outlet, anything?
Yes with the thermostat set to off the fan runs. Only way to stop it is to pull the fuse. Nothing has changed it just stopped working. House has 2 units the other is working fine. I thought the 5 flashes on the board might have been a rollout switch.
Do you have the manual to see what the 5 flashes means?
And you made sure the gas valve is on?
Do this real fast, take your thermostat cover off so you can see the wires. Make sure the red wire is connected to R, the white to W (or heat), the yellow to Y (or cool) and the green to G (or fan). Just make sure the green wire isn't touching the red at all, and make sure nothing looks weird and let me know
The wires are all in place with none touching. The gas valve has not been turned off. It was working and we had a few warm days so we turned it off at the thermostat, when we turned it back on it was doing this.
Also I can't find the manual. I looked everywhere on the unit, back of doors, etc. but couldn't find anything there either.
All right man, my teacher helped me figure this one out today. What happens on some propane furnaces is they go into a hard lockout if one of the bad safeties are tripped, like a rollout switch. You were right. Flame rollout is a bad thing, it means the flame wasn't burning into the heat exchanger, but burning around the hole. This is obviously a fire hazard and if the furnace were allowed to run, it could start a fire in your house. So some furnaces go into hard lockout where they shut down, and my teacher said some run the blower fan continuously no matter what you do at the thermostat. The reasoning behind this is so it'll force you (the homeowner) to call a technician to see why the flame rolled out, and get it fixed so there's no danger of fire or explosion. The only way to get the blower to stop is to reset it on the control board. I don't know how to do that and even if I did, I shouldn't tell you because then your home would again be at risk of a fire. Unfortunately you'll have to have someone take a look at it and reset your board.
There's a few reasons the flame would roll out, one would be you have a crack or a hole in your heat exchanger. Another is if the furnace is in a closet, maybe there's not enough airflow for proper combustion. Or perhaps a bird built a nest on top of your flue pipe on your roof, and no combustion gas can escape. You could try checking those out, but unfortunately someone will have to stop by and make sure the problem is cleared up and reset your board. Good luck
I have york 80 furnace for about 9 years now. This winter it is no running properly. It has been blowing cold air, and when I tried to turn if off on the thermostat it would not shut down. Only way is turn it off is either unplug it in the attic or the outside electric panel. Some days it works fine for one or two days then it goes back to blowing cold air. So I decided to go up the attic and checked for any faulty code diagnosis. I have replaced a new tstat and that did not do the trick. The code was a 5 red flash, which means a flame roll out switch is open. What that means is in case of a flame roll out into the heater then that would possibly create a fire hazard. It's a safety switch. I called Beutler who installed this furnace 9 years ago, and they told me it would cost $90 to come and that does not include diagnosis. I'm just afraid that when they come out and the furnace works fine. Will they able to diagnose the problem or tell me that it's just a bad board. I went to a furnace parts and end up buying a new board for $175. It took me about 1 hour to install the new board. The new board is bigger and I had to drill 4 new holes on the metal panel that holds it. It has been working fine now. These boards does not last that long because of the extreme heat and cold in the attic. Hopefully it will last me another ten years
